Event Calendar

A new Event Calendar (PDF) is now available for your use. The calendar will be updated in late January and then every other month thereafter.

BTLPT, EC-6, and LOTE Testing Timelines

Timelines have been developed for the deliverables associated with the BTLPT - Spanish, the EC-6 tests, and the LOTE tests.

EPP Admin Mailbox

Just about any troubleshooting issue you may have, such as getting an intern/educator registered to take a test or running reports and rosters in the ETS EPP Admistrator section, can be resolved quickly by sending your inquiry to the EPPAdmin@ets.org mailbox.

You can e-mail the EPP Admin mailbox for practically any registration, test administration, or score reporting issue. We encourage you to make sending an e-mail to this mailbox your first attempt to resolve these types of issues.

For issues involving an Educator Profile in the SBEC Online system, contact SBEC Customer Service at 1-888-863-5880.

EPP Mailing Information

It is important to keep the mailing information for your institution current so materials can be sent to the proper person and location. Please send updates to OS_Internet@ets.org and be sure to update your SBEC profile as necessary.

Representative Tests

Representative forms of the TExES and TExMaT tests have been developed by SBEC and ETS. These Representative Tests are used at SBEC-approved EPPs throughout Texas and are designed exclusively to assist staff in measuring candidates' knowledge and skills in relation to the approved TExES and TExMaT test frameworks. They are also useful in preparing certification candidates for testing.

A Representative Test CD-ROM includes:

  • the test framework
  • a test administration manual
  • the test form
  • an answer key
  • an answer sheet

Four new Representative Tests were released on September 1, 2008:

  • Art EC-12 (178)
  • Business Education 6-12 (176)
  • Chemistry 8-12 (140)
  • Technology Applications EC-12 (142)

To order a Representative Test, log in to the secure Administrator section, review and complete the User Agreement and the Order Form, and submit them with payment and a copy of your tax-exempt certificate (if applicable).
